BJJ is the safest fighting style compared to the other combat arts such as taekwondo or wrestling. Don't get us wrong, there's always a chance you can injure yourself in BJJ training too if you are not careful. Sparring will only take place under the supervision of coaches & instructors. Each participant must fill out our liability wavier before participating.
JIU JITU UNIFORMS
The Normal dress for our Jiu Jitsu classes is the Kimono or more known as the "Gi" (gee). It is mandatory that all students wear the Gi and belt to class. We sell our academy Gi's in house. Although it is highly encouraged by the class, it is NOT required in our school policy that you cannot wear other branded garments to class. After some time you will need several uniforms. We offer a fair set of start up packages. (While in stock)

The No Gi uniform will be worn often even outside of specified classes. Many students trying with their NO Gi attire under the Gi although that is not specified as the mandatory uniform in Gi Classes.
